Greg Reed is the former President and CEO of eHealth Ontario. During his 4-year tenure from 2009 to 2013, he drove the implementation of patient electronic health records, resulting in more than 70% of Ontarians having an electronic health record, and more doctors using electronic patient records in Ontario than in all other provinces combined. Greg is a former director of McKinsey and Company, where he spent 20 years consulting telecommunications and technology firms, and cofounding McKinsey’s Global Electronic Commerce Practice. After McKinsey, he was the CEO of both an investment firm and a private Canadian bank. Greg began his career as a systems engineer for IBM. He holds an MBA degree from the Harvard of School of Business, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
